farbedlinen

I have a small obsession with children’s bed linen so when I stumbled across some gorgeous Liberty print fabric in a local dressmaker I decided rather than make a dress, I would turn it into a bed throw.

I bought whatever they had left on the roll – which was just enough to make a duvet throw and a pillowcase. I trimmed the pillowcase in mustard yellow cotton with a plain blue back. I bought some pretty pink and white stripe fabric and some miniature white pom poms to create a second contrasting pillowcase, and covered an existing IKEA cushion in a Japanese teal green polka dot fabric.
