I have had a number of enquiries recently for where to go for cushions. There are some homeware items that are always in demand and cushions rank pretty high on most peoples list – whether it’s dressing up a bed or couch – or simply stacking them on the floor (or inside a teepee as we do in Pippa’s room), you really can’t have too many cushions. So, as any good blogger should, I started hunting for some new cushion suppliers in Singapore to satisfy the requests.
I was delighted to discover (when I attended the recent Tanderra Christmas Fair) that the well known Australian brand, Linen & Moore had recently reached Singapore’s shores. I don’t know how I had missed this arrival! It is a well known and much loved brand in Australia coveted for their bedlinen, cushions and tableware range, so it’s a great addition to Singapore’s homewares scene.
Linen & Moore’s range is perfect for a mix and match look – their cushions (and bedlinens) are designed to go together which makes buying and styling their items easy.
Whether it’s neutrals or something with colour and design, they have a wide selection that is sure to work with any interior style. Even though Linen & Moore is an Australian brand, to me the designs feel like they were made for the Singapore aesthetic – laid back, stylish and with a touch of ethnic pattern that conjures up a living-in-the-tropics feel.
Linen & Moore is stocked at Arete Culture (who have recently opened a store in the Tan Boon Liat building) I popped in last week for someone else and now I have my eye on a beautiful grey throw for the bed (total occupational hazard) – perhaps a Christmas present from me…to me? Linen & Moore also work with Singapore based stylists and interior designers who can arrange purchase of their items for you.
If you wish to see the full range online, or live elsewhere in the world and are interested in shipping, visit the Linen & Moore website.
Wishing you all a happy week ahead.
