There was a time not too long ago that the only options for affordable art were bad reproductions or prints from high street stores (after moving into my first ‘proper’ flat in London I visited Habitat and bought a small framed print which I hung near my bed…it felt very grown up) but these days there is an ever growing collection of well-respected artists who are producing beautiful high quality limited edition prints at an affordable price – and the walls of our homes have never looked better. Not everyone can afford to buy an original artwork so this move towards producing high quality print art is a welcome addition to the affordable art scene.
Louise de Weger is a Brisbane based visual artist whose work perfectly suits our times. Inspired by the minimalist movement, Louise’s pieces have a modern retro feel, with pops of colour, structured lines and geometric shapes. Her work is in high demand, and after a recent sell out exhibition and feature on a hugely popular Australian television renovation show, you can be sure that these limited edition prints will sell very quickly indeed.
Printed on the highest quality, lightly textured, fine archival paper, each design will only be released in a strict run of 50 and once sold will not be released again. Each print comes with a certificate of authentication and is personally signed and numbered by Louise.
Louise’s limited edition prints are available through Aimee Tarulli at Archer Interiors.
