Candles and flowers at Things We Love

Sometimes you just know a home is going to be beautiful by the person who owns it.  I had never visited the home of Things We Love founder Tricia Morahan but I had a pretty good feeling it was going to be lovely if the gorgeous collection of fashion and homewares presented at the Things We Love pop-up shops was anything to go by.  And I was not disappointed.  Tricia has created a warm, stylish and inviting home that is classic and contemporary but still a bit fun.  Situated in a quiet older style condo, the apartment has a large open feel with views of the treetops from every room.

Tricia, and her business partner Emma, started Things We Love just over a year ago and the homes (and wardrobes!) of Singapore expat girls have been benefitting from their beautifully curated collections ever since.  Whether it is some new cushions for your sofa, hurricane lamps in copper tones, or a fabulous new summer frock, Things We Love have it covered.

Beautifully styled living area of Things We Love

Wire basket, cushions (in basket) and hurricane lanterns (on coffee table), all Things We Love. Antique chair and footstool from Perfect Pieces (Melbourne)  and sofa’s sourced from Sydney.

Tricia’s decorating style cleverly combines a mix of antique and contemporary furniture items against a neutral colour palette.  It is a well considered balance that ensures the living area is not too matchy and formal.

It is also one of the last chances to take a look at Tanderra before it becomes a member’s only club on 1 June.
