Holiday Rent: Noosa’s Stylish ‘Noa by the Beach’
a stunning getaway in Noosa
There’s nothing like coming back from one holiday and immediately planning the next to take the sting out of the resumption of normal life, am I right? So when Noosa property, Noa by the Beach came my way, I immediately turned my attention to the Christmas holidays with dreams of beach-life Australian style. We usually stay down south near family, but if you are thinking about a break in Noosa, you will want to jump online to book this property as it is in high demand and you can see why.
Having appeared in the pages of Home Beautiful, Australian Traveller and The Sunday Telegraph to name a few, Noa by the Beach, is a stunning beach retreat perfect for two families or the extended family and ticks all the style boxes.
The interiors
Let’s start by talking interiors - this is literally the first thing I want to know about a property before I book - is it beautiful? And the answer here is a resounding yes. Light and bright with a beautiful contemporary beach vibe, the house has recently been renovated and every aspect has been considered. What’s more, it’s like the owners reached into my brain and styled a home with me in mind. Some of my favourite brands and designs can be found here - from Armadillo & Co rugs, Normann Copenhagen bell pendants, Malawi chairs, artwork by Hannah Nowlan and Cumulus pendants - all of which I have in my home in Singapore.
the propertY
Embracing the indoor / outdoor open plan living design that Australia does so well, Noa by the Beach has that free flowing “we’re all just hanging out between pool, deck, kitchen and living” vibe that makes the best of the long summer days. The house sleeps 12 across six bedrooms, plus there are plenty of living areas both inside and out that give everyone some space to do their own thing. The kitchen is well equipped but if you can’t be bothered to cook, the owners have provided a useful list of caterers on their website that you can contact to help organise a few special meals throughout your stay.
The location
A 90-minute drive from Brisbane, Noa is surrounded by some seriously beautiful and picturesque beaches. Visit the world-renowned National Park – there’s more than 20km of coastal walking tracks a stone’s throw from Noa’s door. Explore Noosa River by boat hire, or engage in a multitude of water sports.
I have to admit, I haven’t been to Noosa for years so I’m not the best person to tell you where to go or what to do but you can take a look at Noa’s website for some cool ideas on things to see and do in the area.
The food
Noa is situated within easy reach of Hastings Street, beaches and Noosa National Park. While you’re staying there, take the time to explore the area with all the new restaurants, bars and cafes Noosa has to offer. Have lunch by the river or check out one of the breweries in the neighbourhood. The city has firmly established itself as a gastronomic destination.
Restaurant, bar and cafe suggestions are on Noa’s website.
