What to Wear in Singapore: Tailored Minimalism
Fashion: Claire Warren | Words: Charlie Cameron
Last week I did a small Q&A on Instagram to ask if you had any requests regarding fashion from The Edit - a couple of people mentioned that they would like some inspiration for work wear. Given it has been more than 20 years since I worked in an office environment I quite liked it as a brief. I took it to Claire, our Fashion Ed. We discussed the fact that work wear as a category can be hard to nail down - what is acceptable in one office may not work in another. (My time working in Investment Banking was strictly trouser or pencil skirt suits with a cuffed shirt, close toed heels and minimal jewellery - whereas my work in Advertising was much looser with fewer restrictions on dressing protocol). So, below, Claire has given you three looks for what to wear in Singapore if a more polished look is needed for your work day. From corporate with a captial C to a creative office enviornment, there is a look here for you.
