Earlier this week I lamented on an Instagram post about my shoe situation - namely, I have none. That may sound like an exaggeration…but actually I don’t. Not really. My current shoe choices are one pair of sandals (nude leather ones that go with everything…or at least, I wear them as though they do), one pair of Veja sneakers (see previous comment) and a really old pair of running sneakers that now have holes at the toe.

Yes, I actually own more shoes than this but I don’t wear them. They are either from a previous time in life (think fancy high heeled that I might have worn 15 years ago), or ones that I bought online but found when they arrived that they were uncomfortable but didn’t go through the faff of returning them and/or I convinced myself they weren’t THAT uncomfortable only to find that I never actually wore them.

So, it was with much delight that you, my lovely community, came to the fore and recommended oodles of brands and shoes to me - and now I have a choice…what shall I buy to supplement the woeful shoe situation?
