Our Christmas Gift Wish Lists

It’s that time of the year where you either make a list (these days with shoppable links), drop some not so subtle hints to your loved ones, or take your chances and hope that they know exactly what is in your mental wish list for Christmas. For us here at Lottie Lifestyle, we have provided a visual guide to what we would most love (so any family member reading this can be well prepared!) As it happens I belong to a family that don’t really do presents. The kids get a couple but even they don’t get a lot. And the adults…? Well, we may buy something for someone if we see something we think they would really love, but otherwise, Christmas for us is about spending time together and enjoying the day. Sounds corny but it’s true. But what fun to dream of the wonderful things you have been lusting over during the year and that might make their way into your stocking come Christmas morning. Here is what the team picked…

Vicky

Book Tiny Beautiful Things - Always on the look out for a new book, and this comes highly recommended, the perfect stocking filler. Pitcher - I love everything Bordallo Pinheiro do, slowly i'm trying to collect a selection of them as feel they bring fun and joy to every table. Fluffy Birkenstocks - I have had my eye on these for a while and whilst living in the tropics they probably aren’t everyones first choice, they are mine! Hot water bottle - Heading back to the UK I feel the cold and this is a super luxe hot water bottle from a brand I just discovered on the amazing website glassette, a complete treasure trove of things you didn’t realise you needed. Smythson Diary - a spoiling luxury but one I really look forward to receiving yearly and if I could only have one thing on my list it would always be this. Gucci Lip Balm - Gorgeous, super lux product. Arch 4 Cashmere Sweater - I have just discovered this brand and the shape and cut of the jumpers are super flattering, I will wear this for years. Twelve South Air Fly Pro - I saw these in the Kris Flyer Magazine on my last flight, they make it possible to connect your wireless headphones to the inflight system - anything to help with comfort levels on the flight I will try. FluID Form Pilates - 3 month subscription -A brilliant Aussie pilates platform, they have a huge range of classes and challenges to choose from . I had a subscription during covid and loved it, so thought a good time to start up again. A Jaivasicek Tile - A very stylish friend has one of these and I just love them. Maison Balzac Black Sassafras Candle - Packing is super simple and smells delightful. Phillips Fabric Shaver - Practical and I have a lot of unloved bobbly jumpers that need some attention. Our Place Pan - These look good and you can braise, sear, steam, strain, saute, fry, boil, and serve in them what’s not to love. Nu Face - climbing rapidly in to my 40’s I'm willing to give anything a go

LOTTIE

George Rings is an ethical, luxury jewellery brand from the U.S. who make small batch collections in soft 18k gold. I absolutely adore their chunky simple designs which feel timeless and classic. I am always on the hunt for soft creamy cheek and lip colours, and I love the Manasi 7 brand for it’s approach to beauty using natural and sustainably produced ingredients. Not only do they look gorgeous, but their products are made in small batches to minimize waste and support small-scale organic farming too. Win win. I don’t wear a lot of jewellery but I’m feeling like a classic Cartier Love bangle has my name on it this year. I am obsessed with Byredo fragrances and Super Cedar is my new fave. Woody and masculine, I get so many compliments when I wear it and I have almost run out so it’s time to replenish. I have lusted over this Walter G tablecloth for so long. Despite it’s busy pattern, this ocre block print has a classic timeless feel from dinner parties to breakfast with the kids, it will always look stylish. Australian designer Lucy Montgomery creates stunningly simple hand painted fabrics and these napkins are part of her tableware collection. The time has come where I need glasses to read tiny print. Depressing but true. I saw these Caddis glasses on Goop and have been meaning to get them for months. I love their strong masculine design and the website has a clever feature where you can see them on your face before you buy which is handy. If they’re good enough for Gywnnie then they’re good enough for me! The Vault in Sydney is an antiques treasure trove full of divine pieces. This bamboo standing lamp is not an antique but has been designed in the manner of Jacques Adnet. I am madly in love with it. The new season collection from new Australian brand Luuda is divine. Hand dyed and finished in Bondi, I had trouble picking just one dress to put on my wish list. I am a lover of ceramics and the handmade ceramics from Pony can be found at E&A Interiors. Everything she does is wonderful. By Fable design high quality letterpress notecards which I love to have on hand to thank people through the year. You can never have enough interiors coffee table books and this is my current pick from Natalie Walton. If I could pick only one thing on this to receive, it would be the iconic Snoopy lamp. I think it’s been on my wish list for years. *Sigh. A pretty fluted carafe and glass to remind me to stay hydrated while I work. And finally, this contemporary artwork by Elspeth Shaw. You know how much I love art!

Scrunchies // Fluted Dish // Wool blazer // Earrings // Complexion drops makeup // Diary // Sequinned midi dress // Necklace // Striped shirt // Boots // Cross body bag // Denim shorts // Candle // Book

Every new year has to start with a new diary, I love an old school paper version, and the Smythson ones are the best. The nostalgia of the blue paper takes me back to my London PR days! Westman Atelier’s Vital skincare complexion drops are raved about by every celeb and beauty journalist and I need to try them. Bit of a guessing game with colour but on her actual website they do have a shade finder to help you match. This Rotate Birger Christensen dress is sparkle perfection. Love the exaggerated sleeve with the nipped in waist in this delicate pink. Pretty pearl and diamond drop earrings would look great with a white shirt, jeans and a red lip! I am a die hard Isabel Marant fan and she knows how to cut a blazer. Feel like this charcoal one will go with everything in the cold this Christmas. Desperately need some new, slightly longer, denim shorts and these paperbag ones will do the trick. Santal is one of my favourite scents and this Le Labo candle is heaven in a glass. My serving platters need an update and I love the soft ripple of the matt black/grey. Gorgeous piled with pudding and berries. Rose Uniacke is my interior style hero - have long awaited her book (first run sold out in days!) so hopefully Father Christmas purchases in time! Silky hair ties, a must have for everyday. Yaitte do the most beautiful shirts made from thick structured cotton. Can’t go wrong with a rattan bag in the tropics and this Ulla Johnson one feels like a departure from the standard Loewe basket (which I wear to death!). Still on the fence with a biker boot, but I struggle to wear the chunky Chelsea boots so feel like if I were to go down the biker route, these Manolo Blahnik’s are where I need to go. Feel more streamline and elegant to other versions I have seen and would work equally well with leggings/jeans or winter dresses. This Brinker and Eliza heart necklace allows you to mark a special date on the heart for a sentimental touch.

Desaru Weekend Break // Mobile Wardrobe bag // Leggings // Jacket // Vintage necklace // Vanity case // Eyeshadow palette // Tray // Eye mask //Book // Skirt

Desaru One & Only - I’d love nothing more than a short-haul luxury break where the travel isn’t exhausting and I can get a chance to read my book! The One & Only at Desaru ticks all the boxes. Anya Mobile Wardrobe - when it comes to organising, Anya does it best. This nifty bag-turned-wardrobe simply hangs up in your destination, so you stay organised and crucially, don’t leave anything behind. Calpak eye mask - simply the best eye masks I have used and I have used them all (I have an eye mask ‘wardrobe’ in my bedside drawer - no joke). Ruth Bader Ginsburg book - the start of a new year is always a good time to reflect on life and Ruth Bader Ginsburg lived hers with bravery and conviction. She was an incredible inspiration. Dora Maar Necklace - vintage one-off jewels make for both a unique and sustainable option. This necklace would vamp up a simple t-shirt or offset an elegant gown. Net-A-Porter Beauty Vanity Case - the best beauty edits and while at a significant price-point, this package also brings significant bang for buck, with full-size luxury products that you wouldn’t necessarily treat yourself to. La Double J cherry tray - who doesn’t love a fun and fruity print? I feel cheered just looking at this. Pat McGrath eyeshadow collection - I have been loving Pat’s incredible concealer so eager to try more of her range. Joseph shearling jacket - luxe, chic and ever-lasting. The shorter length makes this even more versatile. Varley leggings - I’m always looking for something comfortable and chic to pull on for a walk or exercise class. These really do the hard yards and stay looking fresh many, many wears and washes later… Altuzarra skirt - For some winter chic, I have worn my leather Joseph skirts on rotation for years. I love this update with the faux material, pleats and gorgeous buttons. A tuxedo dress from Altuzarra is literally one of the best made items I have ever owned. This would be a true extravagance but a long-lasting one.
