this week…

Desmond & Dempsey PJ’s : These were available in the Black Friday sale - so be quick if you want them at a discount. By far and away this is my favourite PJ brand - their cami and shorts are also amazing. Light weight cotton that washes well and I love this print.

Cotton On Hyper Weave Shirt : Feels a bit stretchy and is made of a fabric designed to keep you cool (let’s see…) but I bought it for the longer sleeve (which I love) and it also has a really nice loose slightly boxy fit (no fitted t-shirts here please).

Skandinavisk Candles : I bought two Christmas candles from Noden this week who stock my favourite Christmas candles from Skandinavisk. Jul smells slightly sweet and Christmassy in all the good ways and Skog is the perfect scent for the Christmas tree smell. Both are divine and when they burn, they fill the house with scent so are well worth the purchase.

Uniqlo x Anya Hindmarch : the first collaboration of these two brands sold in within minutes and this latest collection was not too dissimilar. I bought a few items for various family and there are just a couple of pieces left, so if you love this collab, don’t hang around as nearly everything in the range is sold out.

Ikea tea light holders : While in Ikea I saw these tea lights and thought they would be good to dot down the table when entertaining. At $1 each you can buy more than a handful as they look best en masse (I suggest you get at least 10). They look and feel far more premium than they are.

She Said : This drama is based on the real life events of the New York Times journalists who broke the story about Harvey Weinstein. I absolutely loved it. The story is inherently interesting and I felt that the acting and scriptwriting were superb.

Song Exploder : A new favourite podcast with short episodes that interview an artist and one of their songs and tells the story behind the music - from where the inspiration came from and how they made the track. If you love music you’ll really enjoy this. There are lots and lots of episodes to choose from with many artists.
